• Check-in and Activity Data: Your check-ins at venues, RSVPs to events, friends list, and loyalty reward activity.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and push notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Show you nearby venues, bars, and nightlife spots based on your current location.
• Enable social features such as connecting with friends, viewing friend activity, and area chat.
• Track your check-ins and RSVPs to power loyalty rewards, XP, and achievements.
• Send push notifications about friend activity, deals, and app updates (with your permission).
• Improve the app experience through anonymous, aggregated analytics.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with the following service providers who help us operate the app:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, analytics, and hosting services.
• Foursquare: Venue data and place information.

We may share aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data with venue partners to help them understand foot traffic and popularity trends. Your check-in activity is visible to your friends within the app. Your profile (name and username) is visible to other authenticated Roto users.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account, all associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request. Aggregated anonymous data that has already been shared with venue partners is not affected by account deletion.

5. Children's Privacy

Roto is intended for users who are 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from someone under 21, we will take immediate steps to delete that information. If you believe someone under 21 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@rotoapp.com.

6. Location Data

Roto collects your location only while the app is open and actively in use. We use your location to show nearby venues, bars, clubs, and nightlife establishments. We do not track your location in the background. You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings, though this may limit app functionality.

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Withdraw consent for location access at any time through your device settings.
• Opt out of push notifications at any time.
